Sausalito

Sausalito

At the southeastern tip of Marin County just across the Golden Gate Bridge lies the bucolic small town of Sausalito. Sausalito’s downtown hugs the coastline of Richardson Bay and enjoys a host of fine hotels, top rated restaurants, art galleries and shops, making this town of 7,500 residents a popular tourist destination. Thanks to its conveniently located ferry terminal, Sausalito is easily accessible to San Francisco. Scattered throughout its lovely hillside residential neighborhoods are a mix of beautiful architecturally diverse homes and condominiums, many of which enjoy the magnificent waterfront views of Richardson Bay and San Francisco. The Sausalito Art Festival attracts an array of international, Bay Area and local artists annually over Labor Day weekend. This special community allows its residents to feel like theirs is a resort destination.
